Blade front sight marked "N" and "I.R.CO." marked adjustable peep rear sight, Inland Division barrel dated "12-44", "AI" marked Type III barrel band, round bolt, pushbutton safety, "UI" magazine and "H.I." marked magazine catch. Low wood stock with 4-rivet hand guard, smooth unmarked pistol grip, green canvas sling, "crossed cannons" on the right side and "10" inside the oval stock cutout. The carbine is attributed by the consignor as a family heirloom, brought home as-is by a WWII GI and kept in the family until this sale.
Excellent, with 97% plus original parkerized finish, showing minor wear and handling marks overall. The stock is also excellent, with mild scattered dings. Mechanically excellent.
