Built on a Mauser style action with hooded, beaded blade front sight with adjustable rear peep sight on the blued barrel marked only with the caliber ".35 WHELEN". The floorplate and bottom metal are engraved with floral scrollwork which is signed "D CULLITY 07" near the trigger guard for former master engraver with Colt and apprentice of Alvin A. White, Daniel Cullity. Beautifully figured, fluer-de-lis checkered pistol grip stock with contrasting forend tip, matching engraved grip cap, cheekpiece, and checkered steel buttplate. Includes a set of quick detachable scope rings.

Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue finish, limited handling evidence, and sharp stock checkering. The engraving by Master Engraver Daniel Cullity is sharp. Mechanically excellent.
