Made in Germany for the Santa Fe Division of Golden State Arms, these early G3 rifles were only imported for one year as part of H&Ks initial push into the American market. Hooded post front sight, with a four-position drum rear sight. The left side of the magazine well bears the H&K model marking, serial number and "7/62" date, with the left side of the trigger group bearing Golden State's markings and "S/E" marked selector positions. Ribbed and ventilated forearm, with a smooth plastic pistol grip, and fixed buttstock. Includes metal handguard, telescoping stock, "ub" marked training bolt/carrier assembly (training ammo not included), and four extra sealed magazines.
Excellent overall, retaining 97% plus original phosphate finish with cycling wear and limited minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
