Standard markings with nearly 75% coverage floral scroll engraving with an anchor on either side of the barrel, a birds head intertwined with the engraving on either side of the frame, and a wolf's head hammer. John Adams Jr.'s signature "JA" is found mixed in with a flourish of floral engraving and bands at the muzzle. Fitted with grips by Dan Chesiak. Includes a Colt Blackpowder series box hand numbered to the revolver and a blue velvet lined Colt hardwood case containing a patriotic themed powder flask, Colt's patent bullet mould, combination tool, and cap tin.

Excellent as embellished by John Adams, with limited handling marks and a tiny patch of oxidation at the base of the front sight. Grips are very fine with a hairline tension crack on the left side, and attractive coloration and grain. Mechanically excellent. The case and all accessories are very fine with limited storage and handling marks.
