Lyman beaded blade front and elevation adjustable rear notch sights, tenth style barrel inscription, Winchester "WP" proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech, Third Model receiver with exposed locking lugs, standard three-line marking on the upper tang, and matching serial numbers on the receiver and lower tang. 12 groove slide handle and attractively figured checkered pistol grip stock with Winchester hard rubber grip cap, and blue steel crescent buttplate. The left side of the lower tang and inside of the buttplate are stamped with matching assembly number "8". The end of the buttstock is unmarked.

Very fine with 95% plus original blue finish, well defined markings, some brown patina on the muzzle, small patches of mild flaking and a long scratch above takedown knob on the receiver, and some scattered surface scratches and handling marks. The wood is also very fine with sharp checkering, scattered small dings. Mechanically excellent.
