Description:

Antique slag glass lamp marked "HANDEL" on the side of the bronze base. The shape of the lamp base is very similar to that of the vases which would be made by the company at the turn of the century. Each of the three bulb sockets have their own pull chain. The lamp shade is a mosaic of slag glass in a floral design with vibrantly colored glass. The Handel Company (1885-1941) was famous for their lamps, but also produced a whole host of decorative and metal products.

Rating Definition:

Exceptionally fine overall with an untouched attractively aged "patinated" finish on the bronze surface of the base. The glass shows some spots where individual piece have started to slightly separate from the metal mosaic structure.
