This oil painted on board portrait depicts a Native American Chief in bright traditional dress including a war bonnet suggesting a ceremonial purpose for the regalia. The bottom left corner is signed "Ralph Miller/1904". The painting itself measures 21 1/2 inches by 17 1/2 inches and is housed in a wood frame with gold painted central outline that measures 25 1/2 inches by 29 1/2 inches overall.

Rating Definition:
