Built on a Fabrique Nationale Mauser 98 action, barrel marked "PAUL JAEGER-JENKINTOWN, PA.", caliber marking on left side of the barrel ahead of the chamber, and Redfield scope base. The floorplate is engraved with beautiful oak leaf designs and gold line borders surrounding a gold inlaid bear at the center. Nicely figured, multi-point checkered pistol grip stock with contrasting forend tip, matching engraved grip cap, inscription oval marked "CH", and Pachmayr rubber buttplate.

Excellent as professionally built by Paul Jaeger, retaining 99% original blue finish with minor handling evidence. The wood is very fine with a few minor scratches and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
