The barrel was manufactured with a ramp beaded blade front sight, a notch rear sight, and marked "CUSTOM MADE FOR PACHMAYR GUN WORKS INC. LA. BY JOH. SPRINGER's ERBEN, VIENNA". The receiver is tapped for scope mounting. Jeweled bolt, extractor, and follower. Extensive floral scroll engraving on trigger guard and floor plate. The pistol grip stock has fancy diamond checkering with rosewood forend and brass pistol grip cap inscribed "DONATED BY NAN AND FRANK PACHMAYR TO WETLANDS FOR IOWA" and a vented Pachmayr White Line recoil pad.
Professionally built and embellished. The rifle retains 98% blue finish with a few minor dings on the muzzle and some finish loss on top of the receiver. The stock is excellent with some minor scratches and pressure dents. Checkering is crisp. Mechanically excellent.
