Finished bright with no fixed sights, marked with the serial number, "1939" date, Walther address and banner, and "eagle/M III/3" Kreigsmarine proof on the left side of the frame ahead of the safety switch, with a pair of "eagle/inverted heart" proofs (faintly double stamped) on the right side of the chamber and frame, and a chamber indicator on top of the frame. Fitted with a smooth forearm with protective hand stop and a pair of checkered grips.

Excellent, showing a bright stainless steel overall with some scattered extremely light handling marks and clear markings. The wood is also excellent with a minor ding visible in the toe of the left grip panel, a few scattered light handling marks, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
