Manufactured in 1941. This rifle features beaded blade front and elevation adjustable rear sights. The barrel features the standard Marlin legend on the left side under the rear sight and caliber marking on the top behind the rear sight at the breech. The casehardened long tang receiver is marked "MARLIN SAFETY" on the top. Mounted with a smooth carbine forend and pistol grip stock with hard rubber buttplate. Provenance: The Milan J. Excellent overall, retaining 98% plus original blue finish and 95% vivid original case colors with some silvering out on the lever. Wood is also excellent with a few minor pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
