Description:

An invention of William H. Elliot, approximately 17,000 to 20,000 of these tiny pistols were manufactured between 1865 to 1888. The left side of the grip frame, bottom of the barrel, and inside the right grip are marked with the serial number "2126". It has a brass cone front sight and an integral rear sighting notch. Includes a hardwood case and twelve .22 RF cartridges. Provenance: The Milan J. Turk Collection

Rating Definition:

Fine, retains 90% plus of the refinished blue finish with the balance having thinned to a smooth grey patina and a few scattered patches of light pitting. The grips are also fine with a few scattered minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The relined case is very fine with minimal handling/storage evidence.
