This model was manufactured c. 1906-1916 and is rarely seen. This rifle features a factory mounted Stevens scope (sn. 338), no iron sights, adjustable double set triggers, fancy grade checkered walnut pistol grip stock with perch belly profile and high comb and Schnabel forearm, and a casehardened Swiss buttplate. Very fine with 90% plus original blue finish and 85% case colors on the barrel and frame, repaired lever, 75% original case colors on the buttplate, and minor overall wear. The refinished wood is also very fine with nearly all of the original glossy varnish, crisp checkering, beautiful figure, and minimal handling and storage wear. The scope has some scratches, a ding, minor oxidation, and good optics. Mechanically fine.
