Manufactured in 1915. The revolver has an elevation adjustable blade front sight, a windage adjustable square notch rear sight, a barrel marked "NEW SERVICE" followed by "RUSSIAN AND/S&W SPECIAL" and "44" on the left side, checkered grip straps, nicely figured diamond checkered grips, and a crane numbered to the gun. Provenance: The Milan J. Turk Collection
Very fine with refinished barrel, the balance retaining 90% original blue finish, light cylinder drag line, and minor handling evidence. The grips are very fine with a few dings and scratches and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
