Manufactured in 1938. Single steel bead sight on the factory matted solid rib, standard markings, 3 inch chamber, and choke marked modified. Winchester "WP" proofs on the barrel and receiver. Plain 18-groove forend and pistol grip stock with Winchester hard rubber buttplate. Stock measurements: 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 3/8 inch drop at heel; 14 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. Excellent, retaining 95% original blue, slide retraction wear, cleaned off "pepper" pitting visible on the triggerguard, minor handling evidence, and a few light scratches. Stock and forend are very fine as reoiled. Mechanically excellent.
