Manufactured in 1948 with standard Winchester markings including factory oval proofs, ramped beaded blade front and elevation adjustable rear sights, and a flat front barrel ring. Smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a shotgun buttplate.

Very fine, retaining 80% original blue finish with scattered light handling marks and some slight high edge wear. Wood is very good with scattered dings and scratches as well as a gap on the left side of the upper tang. Mechanically excellent.
