Introduced in 1949. This pistol features the SIG logo on the left side behind the serial number. Fitted with blade front and square notch rear sights and checkered walnut sights. Per the consignor this pistol was gifted to him in 1980 by Stauffer Chemical in Europe. Includes a blue SIG box containing a magazine loading tool and extra sights. Provenance: The Milan J. Excellent overall, retaining 98% plus original high polish blue finish with limited handling marks, a safety drag line, and crisp checkering. The hammer slips off the safety notch when the trigger is pulled otherwise, mechanically excellent. Box is fine with storage and handling marks and degradation to the interior foam.
