Manufactured in 1938. Hooded ramp front sight and a filler block in the rear sight dovetail. Standard barrel markings with the early style caliber marking "300 MAGNUM", Winchester "WP" proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech, factory drilled and tapped cloverleaf tang receiver for scope mounting with a Redfield mount installed, matching numbered bolt, floor plate marked "-SUPER GRADE-". Nicely figured, multi-point checkered pistol grip stock with contrasting forend tip, sling swivels, and checkered blue steel buttplate.

Very fine, retaining 90% original blue finish with most of the loss on the floorplate and bottom metal and minor handling evidence. The refinished wood is also very fine with a few minor marks and sharp recut/added checkering. Mechanically excellent.
