Manufactured in 1930 with the standard two-line address/patent dates and Rampant Colt on the left of the slide and the caliber markings on the right. Trigger guard marked "1/VP" and "51", the serial number on the left of the frame, and standard features. Includes the original Colt maroon box and bore brush.

Near excellent, retains 95% of the original blue finish with a spot of brown touch up visible on the slide, ahead of the ejection port. Light edge wear, a few scattered light handling marks, and some light speckling visible on the grip straps. The grips are excellent with a few scattered light blemishes in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine with some light wear, primarily on the corners.
