Introduced in 1962, this is one of only 147 Gold Line Challenger pistols manufactured with a 4 1/2 inch barrel. It has standard markings on each side of the barrel and Liege proofs on the bottom, and the serial number is on the front grip strap. The barrel, slide, and frame have been factory embellished with gold inlaid borders. Fitted with blade and adjustable notch rear sights, and a checkered wraparound walnut grip.

Excellent, retains 99% plus of the original blue finish with a few scattered light handling marks and a couple very light dings in the front sight blade. The grips are very fine with a few scattered minor dings and crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent.
