Manufactured in 1875, this is one of only approximately 2,150 of the five-shot configuration House Model revolvers produced. This example was shipped to Colt's London Agency and has British proofs on the lower left of the barrel and the chambers of the cylinder. Visible numbers match including inside each grip panel. This example has been nickel plated, likely by a London retailer, and has standard features. Includes a hardwood case with Colt's London Agency interior label, cleaning rod, key, and thirteen .41 RF cartridges.

Very fine, retains 85% of the period, retailer applied silver plating with the balance showing either a smooth grey patina or an attractive antique brass. The barrel address is barely legible. The grips are also very fine with some scattered light handling marks, light wear, and retaining most of the varnish. Mechanically excellent. The case is fine with some mild handling/storage wear.
