Manufactured in 1877 with the standard two-line address on top of the barrel, "COLT NEW 22" on the left in an etched panel, patent date on the bottom, serial number on the butt, and 50% plus coverage floral scroll engraving. It has standard features as well as a pair of checkered rosewood grips.

Fine, retains 70% of the original nickel finish with the balance having thinned, primarily on the frame, showing an attractively aged brass, some patches of light pitting at the front of the cylinder, and crisp engraving. The grips are also fine with a few scattered light handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
