Manufactured in 1907 with standard Colt markings including the desirable "44 RUSSIAN CTG." marking on the left of the barrel and Rampant Colt on the left of the frame surrounded by "COLT'S/NEW SERVICE". It is fitted with fixed blade and frame notch sights, checkered hammer and cylinder latch, a lanyard ring on the butt, and checkered hard rubber grips with "COLT" within ovals at the top.

Very fine, retains 80% plus of the original high polish blue finish and 50% of the original nitre blue with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina, primarily on the back strap, the trigger, and right side of the barrel. The grips are excellent with a few scattered light handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
