Lot 1399: World War II U.S. Remington-Rand Model 1911A1 Pistol

Manufactured in 1945. Blade and flat top notch sights, standard slide markings, "FJA" inspected frame, stamped checkered trigger, thin checkered hammer, long grip safety, checkered thumb safety, serrated slide catch and arched serrated mainspring housing, Keyes Fiber grips, unmarked full blue magazine, and High Standard "HS" and "P" marked barrel. Includes a plain, modern, replacement, hand-marked Kraft style storage box.

Excellent, retains 99% plus of the original parkerized finish with some scattered light handling marks and light edge wear. The grips are also excellent with only the slightest handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine with some mild wear and a separated corner.
