Jesse and lists the theater, Southeast Asia (Republic of Vietnam), and his period of active service between September 3rd, 1969-September 3rd, 1970. Serial number and "star 1" factory marking on the receiver, and hooded post front and elevation adjustable (Russian marked) rear sights. Matching serial numbers on the receiver, bolt carrier, and stock (very faint). Folding knife bayonet, butt compartment door, lower buttplate screw, and section at the bottom of the buttplate are all absent. Includes canvas sling.

Rating Definition:

Fair, retains traces of original blue finish below the rear sight with scattered dark patina and moderate pitting overall indicative of heavy jungle use. Stock is also fair with scattered scratches, dents, scuffs, and a few cracks at the toe. Absent parts as mentioned above. Mechanically fine.
