Manufactured in 1921 on a size "0" frame as one of only 469 produced in this configuration per page 291 of "The Parker Story" by Gunther, Mullins, Parker, Price, and Cote. Single steel bead sight on the concave, matted solid rib which is marked "PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDEN. CT. U.S.A. TITANIC STEEL", light bands of engraving at the breech, and 2 1/2 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The casehardened boxlock action displays the standard DHE Grade consisting of floral scroll surrounding "PARKER BROS." banners and hunting dog scenes on both the left and right of the action, as well as a covey of pheasant. The floral scroll work continues onto the top lever and trigger guard. The gun features double triggers and a tang mounted manual safety switch. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered walnut beavertail forend with engraved fittings, including the Deeley latch release, and pistol grip stock with checkered teardrop flats, Parker Brothers grip cap, and engraved skeleton buttplate surrounding the checkered bare butt. The above action, barrel length, and gauge are confirmed on page 484 of "Parker Gun Identification & Serialization" by Price and Fjestad. Per the consignor, this gun was fully refurbished by renowned gunsmith and Parker expert Larry DelGrego. Barrel and stock measurements (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .624/.624 inches; choke constriction .004/.003 inches; minimum wall thickness .021/.017 inches; 1 9/16 inch drop at comb; 1 15/16 inch drop at heel; 14 1/4 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 5 oz.

Very fine as professionally refurbished by Larry DelGrego, retaining 99% blue and casehardened finishes with minor handling evidence. The re-oiled wood is also very fine with a few minor marks and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
