Description:

This Parker Bros. advertising print is based on artwork by Bert Sharkey c. 1921. The print features two squirrels on a limb surrounded by falling autumnal oak leaves. The bottom right corner is marked "PARKER BRO./MASTER GUN MAKER/MERIDEN, CONN. U.S.A." and again with the Parker Bros. address below that. The bottom left hand corner has the artist's mark, "BERT-". The hardwood frame is finished to appear like curly maple. It measures 17 3/8 x 21 3/16 inches overall.

Rating Definition:

The print itself is very good, having been cropped vertically to fit the frame, with some mild fading and minor tear near the Parker Bros. markings. The frame is also very good with some minor flaking of the finish scattered throughout and otherwise minimal handling evidence. The ultimate accessory item for your Parker shotgun collection display!
