Blued steel barrels with dual bead front sights (front sight broken) on the matte concave rib, chokes marked skeet out/skeet in, 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors, and standard markings on the flats. The casehardened boxlock action features a single selective trigger and tang mounted manual safety switch and displays light zig-zag border engraving around the receiver on all sides. Highly figured, multi-point checkered beavertail forend with Deeley latch release and round knob pistol grip stock with blank inscription shield and checkered bare butt. The above configuration is confirmed on page 604 of "Parker Gun Identification and Serialization" by Price and Fjestad. According to the table on page 411 of "The Parker Story" by Gunther, Mullins, Parker, Price, and Cote, this is one of only 85 VHE Grade 28 gauge skeet guns ever built, making it an extremely rare gun. Barrel and stock measurements (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .555/.553 inches; choke constriction .009/.006 inches; minimum wall thickness .023/.023 inches; 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 9/16 inch drop at heel; 14 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 3 oz.

Excellent, retaining 98% original blue and casehardened finishes, light handling evidence, and a few scattered scratches. The wood is very fine with a few minor scratches, a pair of pressure marks on the left of the stock, a faint crack on the left at the junction with the rear of the frame, tiny chips at the rear of the upper tang and toe, and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
