Manufactured in 1960 and subsequently engraved by Master Engraver Ben Shostle. The revolver features two gold bands at either end of the barrel with a large spray of floral scroll engraving coming from the breech end on the barrel and ejector housing. The frame and grip straps feature gold wire bordered panels of floral scroll engraving with a leaf pattern on either end of the top strap. The cylinder features sprays of floral scroll between each flute and two gold inlaid bands at the rear with leaves between. Fitted to this revolver is a set of hand carved grips featuring a U.S. Mail Service stagecoach on the left side. Includes a custom made walnut case with an inlaid Colt logo on the lid.

Excellent overall as master engraved by Ben Shostle retaining 99% plus of the factory quality blue finish with minimal handling marks and age lines on the top and bottom of the grips. Mechanically excellent. Case is very fine with storage and handling marks and high edge wear.
