Manufactured in 1900. The factory letter confirms the .22 Long chambering and states the rifle was received in the warehouse on March 31, 1900 and shipped on April 2, 1900. Beaded blade front an elevation adjustable rear notch sights, second style barrel inscription, Winchester WP proofs correctly absent, "22 LONG." caliber marking on top barrel flat at the breech, casehardened second model receiver with hidden locking lugs, blue breech bolt and trigger, casehardened hammer, and standard maker, model, and patent marking on the upper tang. 12 groove slide handle and plain walnut straight grip stock with casehardened steel crescent buttplate.

Very fine. The barrel has 95% professionally restored blue finish with some light pitting visible under the blue, small dings, and some light edge wear. The receiver has 85% original vivid case colors with a patch of dark patina on the left side, thin layer of protective varnish, and mostly gray patina on the tangs. The wood is also excellent with some small dings, and mixed gray patina and traces of original case colors on the buttplate. Mechanically excellent.
