Manufactured in 1874 and subsequently period retailer engraved with 75% coverage broad floral scroll and nickel plated, likely by a London retailer. The top of the barrel has the two-line address and the bottom has the serial number "1011" and two British proofs. The chambers of the cylinder have British proofs and the rear face is numbered "2115". The left side of the grip frame and inside each grip are numbered "2255". The writer believes the mismatched numbers are due to the retailer reassembling mixed parts after engraving/plating. Includes a leather wrapped retailer style hard case, a screwdriver/cleaning rod, and six .32 RF cartridges.

Very fine as retailer engraved and plated, retaining 90% plus of the silver plated finish with some scattered light flaking and a few small thinned spots on the cylinder showing blue finish. The grips are fine with some scattered minor dings and light wear of the varnish. Mechanically excellent. The case is fine with some mild wear.
