Description:

"N" blade front sight and "H.I." adjustable rear sight, with a "9-44" dated Inland barrel and Type II barrel band. "A.I." blued round bolt, milled "INLAND" trigger housing, unmarked push button safety, "E.I." magazine catch, "I-I" hammer and a "PI" operating rod. The main stock body is of the two rivet, low wood configuration, with an "H.I." four-rivet handguard, "PI/3" marked underneath the grip, leather cheekpad with steel rivets, and swiveling spring-loaded buttplate with proper casting marks. Ownership identification (social security) numbers hand carved on the underside of the trigger guard housing and on underside of the stock to the right of the magazine well. Rating Definition:

Very fine, retains 85% original parkerized finish with some light handling marks and edge wear. 60% original blue finish on the bolt. Stock is also very fine with some light scratches and handling marks, some scuffing on the left of the forend from the folding buttstock rubbing, a small chip in the left of the handguard, and carving on the underside as mentioned above. Mechanically excellent.
