Standard receiver markings over the serial number. The barrel is marked "SA/Ordnance Shell and Flame/3-36" with the small star-gauge marking on the muzzle crown. The barrel is fitted with the standard blade front sight and dark blue finished folding ladder rear sight. Receiver mounted with a Lyman 48 peep sight. "N.S." marked bright polished bolt. Fitted with a standard two-bolt walnut pistol grip stock. Faint boxed "S.A./S.P.G." inspection cartouche marked on the left wrist of the stock behind another faint illegible cartouche with two faint circled "P" proofs on the underside above the pistol grip. It has the standard all milled components, with a heavily checkered NM type steel buttplate. Includes a 1918 dated M1907 leather sling, brass P.J. O'Hare muzzle cover, and steel P.J. Fine, retains 80% period refinished blue finish with edge wear and scattered scratches. Stock is also very good as sanded and re-oiled with scattered light scratches and handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
