Originally manufactured in China by Polytech and imported by Keng's Firearm Specialty of Atlanta, Georgia, as a semi-automatic rifle, this AKS was upgraded by SWD of Atlanta to a select fire assault rifle. Hooded post and tangent rear sights, with a threaded muzzle. The original model and caliber markings are marked on the left of the receiver, with the trunnion bearing the "Factory 416" triangle logo on the left side, the KFS address on the underside ahead of the magazine well, and the SWD address alongside the trigger. The block post on the right side of the receiver has been altered and a new safety lever position cut, restoring the traditional AK "safe/full/semi" functionality to the selector. Matching numbers are present on the dust cover, recoil spring guide, bolt carrier, bolt, and gas cylinder. Fitted with a smooth hardwood forearm and pistol grip, and a folding metal buttstock. Includes matching serial numbered shipping box, matching serial numbered bayonet, green canvas sling, oil bottle, and two extra magazines.

Very fine as upgraded to full auto, retains 97% blue finish with some scattered light handling marks. Wood is excellent with some light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478.
