Manufactured in 1966. Blued Special Steel barrels with a single white bead sight on the matted vent rib, standard markings, 2 inch wedges scroll engraving at the breech end, and chokes marked "*"/"*" (full/full), and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The blued action displays full coverage scroll engraving on punch dot background surrounding game bird scenes which depict a trio of pheasant on the left, three mallards on the right, and a single quail on the underside, all rendered in fine semi-relief gold inlay with gold inlaid borders around the scenes. The receiver is signed "BLEUS" at the bottom rear on both sides of the action for Browning Master Engraver Louis Bleus. The triggerguard and tangs are engraved with matching scroll and checker board patterns and a blank initial shield at the center of the guard. The gun features a single gold washed trigger and a tang mounted safety/selector switch with gold inlaid "S", "O". and "U". Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and a pistol grip stock with ventilated Browning recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements: bore diameter nine inches from the breech .727/.724 inches; choke constriction .039/.038 inches; minimum wall thickness .033/.032 inches; 1 3/8 inch drop at comb; 1 13/16 inch drop at heel; 14 1/2 inch length of pull; weight 8 lbs 3 oz.

Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and gold finishes, limited handling evidence, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent.
