Manufactured in 1951. Matching serial numbers on the butt, cylinder, and barrel. As is common with police department marked guns, the right grip is numbered to another gun. Features half moon front sight, small trigger guard, and serrated flat cylinder release. The left side of the grip frame is marked "K-142-4963-5376/Forestview ILL. P.D." Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with limited handling marks, a cylinder drag line, and some high edge, holster type wear on the leading edge of the cylinder. Mechanically excellent. Box is fine with limited storage and handling marks.
