Manufactured in 1954-55. This pistol is an early example of what would become the Model 39 Double Action pistol. It features serrated blade front and rear notch sights, a small safety, long extractor, alloy frame, and checkered walnut grips with Smith & Wesson Medallions. Provenance: The Ernie Rice Collection

Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with limited handling marks and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent.
