Description:

Manufactured in 1944. "N" marked blade front sight, "PI" marked adjustable peep rear sight, "8-44" dated Inland Division barrel, Type II barrel band, "INLAND" milled trigger housing, "WI" hammer, unmarked push button safety, "PI" slide, "IO" round bolt and "IS" magazine. "IO" four-rivet hand guard, "crossed cannons" cartouche on the right of the buttstock and "IO" marked inside the sling cutout. Includes a clamp-on M-8 grenade launcher, reproduction dummy M1A2 training grenade adapter (does not have an opening for bullets to pass through), hollow dummy training grenade, olive drab green canvas sling, 1943 dated U.S. tan canvas double magazine pouch, and two extra 15-round magazines (both "KI" marked). Rating Definition:

Very fine, retains 85% original parkerized finish with scattered areas of smooth brown patina and some light handling marks. 70% original blue finish remains on the bolt. Stock is very fine with defined edges, some light to moderate scratches and dents, some small chips, glue visible around the edges of the heel plate, and crisp stampings. Mechanically excellent. Included accessories are very good to fine.
