One of the descendants of the famous Browning 1917 machine gun, the Model 1919 discards the heavy water jacket in favor of an air cooling arrangement, increasing the mobility of the weapon, and variants of the Model 1919 would be American military mainstays in multiple roles for decades. Folding blade front and ladder rear sights, with the Ramo address, S/N and model markings on the right sideplate, ventilated barrel heat shield, a pintle mount, and a pair of black plastic "spade" grips and checkered "butterfly" thumb trigger on the rear. Parts are from multiple sources, including a "RIA" bolt and barrel extension, "SAK" bottom receiver plate, and some Israeli-marked feed components. Included with the item are a number of accessories, including a tripod with T&E mechanism, canvas ammo belts, disintegrating metal links (loose and boxed, may include links intended for other machine guns), two sealed boxes labeled as containing about 2,000 rounds of Israeli 7.62mm ammo each, five ammo cans containing loaded belts (chiefly loaded in a sequence of 4 standard rounds and 1 orange-tipped tracer), and a number of small parts and tools.

Excellent, with 97% of the original matte gray phosphate finish, showing some minor spotting and handling marks overall. The pin securing the pintle to the receiver shows traces of a green paint finish. The spade handles show some minor scratching but are generally solid. The accessories show wear appropriate to age, but overall appear to be in good order. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478.
