Description:

Introduced before WWII and produced through the German occupation. The right side of the frame, slide, and receiver are stamped with "eagle/swastika" German army test proofs and the matching serial number "1071". These pistols were known to be used by the occupying German forces and though they are test proofed, they were not stamped with the usual acceptance stamps. Very similar to the Clement style pistols with fixed blade and frame notch rear sights, direct blowback design with the recoil spring above the barrel, bottom magazine release, and checkered "AG" monogrammed grips. Includes a black leather flap holster hand marked "RE Wilson" inside the flap and a brown leather holster.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, retains 85% plus of the original blue finish with the balance having thinned to a smooth brown-grey patina, primarily on the grip straps and high spots. The grips are also very fine with a few scattered light handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The holsters are both very good with some mild wear. This variation of pistol is seldom encountered, very scarce.
