Manufactured from 1913 to 1923. Blade front and adjustable folding rear sights and a bayonet lug on the barrel. "MILITARY MODEL" marked on the left of the action. Military "musket" style forend and handguard with straight grip stock, hand marked "22", with metal buttplate. Includes a correct original knife bayonet (scabbard absent) and leather sling. Very good, retaining 30% faded original blue finish and traces of original case colors in protected areas with handling marks, and thinning to brown on the balance. Wood is very fine with scattered dings and scratches and the aforementioned stock carving. Mechanically excellent. Bayonet is fine with pitting and a brown patina on the grip and brown patina on the blade.
