Description:

Manufactured from 1979 to 1999 and marketed to law enforcement and foreign military clients, the AC-556 family of weapons is the Mini-14 .223 caliber rifle configured as a factory original selective fire machine gun. Fitted with a birdcage flash hider, blade and adjustable peep sights and standard receiver markings. The selector switch is positioned on the right rear of the receiver, with positions for semi-automatic, three round burst, and full automatic. Smooth hardwood stock, with vented synthetic upper cover, checkered pistol grip, and folding metal buttstock. The magazine is absent. Includes a web sling. Provenance: The Dr. Robert Azar Collection

Rating Definition:

Excellent, showing mostly bright stainless steel with some scattered light handling marks. Thebarrel and gas system show a brown tone, possibly a protective overcoat. The wood is very fine with some scattered minor pressure dents and dings, and an extremely small chip absent on the right around the screw. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478.
