Description:

Manufactured in 1913. The left side of the barrel is marked with the two-line address/patent date ahead of the rear sight and "25-20 W.C.F." at the breech. The oval "WP" proof is marked on top of the barrel and receiver. The upper tang is marked with the three-line model, maker, and trademark information, and the serial number is marked on the underside of the receiver. The rifle has a pinned blade front sight, notch and ladder rear sight, saddle ring on the left, and gumwood stock and forearm.

Rating Definition:

Fine with 70% plus original blue finish, some flaking on frame with a smooth brown patina, fading on the buttplate, 40% original case colors on the hammer and lever, some small patches of oxidation, and general mild overall wear. The wood is fine and has scattered dents and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
