Manufactured in 1908 per Nigel Brown's "British Gunmakers Volume One: London". Blued steel barrels with a single bead sight on the smooth concave solid rib, "SLEEVED" marked on both flats, London reproofs, import mark on under rib toward muzzles, 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors, and choke constrictions of .010/.014 inches. The coin finished sidelock action features floral and geometric engraving, double triggers, bushed firing pins, and automatic tang safety with gold inlaid "SAFE" Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered splinter forend with engraved fittings and straight grip stock with teardrop flats, blank inscription oval, wood butt extension, and red rubber recoil pad. Stock measurements: 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 3/16 inch drop at heel; 16 3/16 inch length of pull; cast-off; weight 6 lbs 13 oz.

Very fine, retaining 97% plus reapplied blue finish with some muddling of the rib markings, slight discoloration in areas on the action, overall light handling evidence, a slight crack coming off the top tang, and sharp checkering on the wood. Mechanically excellent.
