This is an excellent example of a mid WWII Nazi K43 semi-automatic rifle as manufactured by the Walther factory that has been fitted with a ZF4 sniper scope and mount. It has the rough cast type receiver marked on the left side "Eagle/359/K43/ac44" next to the serial number. It also has the rough cast bolt cover with the hollow cocking knob on the left side with hold open latch on the right side. It has the late stamped action cover with sliding dust cover. It is fitted with a laminated stock and handguard, with a sheet metal cupped buttplate on the end of the stock. The stock has a single very faint Waffenamt proof on the left side and underside of the butt. The rifle is fitted with a matching number scope mount, with the square ends, that has a single "Eagle/359" Waffenamt proof on the side with a blue "fest" and "lose" marked locking lever. The matching original wartime mount (one of only a few known) is fitted with a mid-war ZF4 marked scope that is marked "Gw ZF4/64215/K43/ddx". The scope is complete with the leather and wooden plug lens caps and rubber eye shield with a tinted sun lense. The rifle is complete with one magazine marked "avx/K43" on the left side. Included with this rifle is a blue cleaning rod, a brown cross-hatched leather sling and a spare firing pin inside the butt-trap compartment.

Excellent. 95% of the phosphate finish overall with edge wear with thinning. The stock and handguard are both very fine overall with light inspectors marks. The scope and mount retain 90% of the original finish with clear optics. Mechanically excellent. One will look a long time to find another example!
