Manufactured in 1872 with standard features. The top of the barrel has the two-line address flanked by Maltese crosses, British proofs on the barrel and cylinder, and matching numbers on the barrel, butt, and inked inside each grip panel. The left side of the frame has the Rampant Colt flanked by the letter "C" stamp. Includes a hardwood case with Colt London Agency interior label, cleaning rod, key, and an assortment of .22 RF cartridges.

Very fine, retains 60% of the bright original high polish blue finish on the cylinder and barrel overall with 90% plus of the original silver plating on the frame with the balance either a smooth grey patina or attractively aged brass. The nicely figured grips are excellent with some light wear on high spots and scattered light handling marks and retained most of the varnish. Mechanically excellent. The case is fine with a crack in the bottom and otherwise minimal handling/storage wear.
