Blued steel barrels with dual white bead sights on the matted vent rib which is marked "The Grouse Gun", 3 inch chambers with automatic ejectors, and improved cylinder/modified chokes. The coin finished action displays a pair of grouse in flight on the left, a setter and grouse on the right, and a gold inlaid grouse on the underside, all surrounded by floral scroll. The gun features a single trigger and tang mounted safety/selector. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and round knob pistol grip forend with fleur-de-lis flats, and Winchester black rubber recoil pad. Includes a leather bound takedown case marked "The Ruffed Grouse Society". Stock measurements: 1 7/16 inch drop at comb; 2 1/16 inch drop at heel; 14 1/8 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 6 oz.

Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue and coin finishes, limited handling evidence, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. The case is very fine. Mechanically excellent.
