Fecht in Berlin" in silver with scroll accents on the upper barrel flats, silver bands on the breech ends, an inlaid "1" or "2" respectively on the upper tangs, "CL.v.d. FECHT/IN BERLIN" the locks, adjustable single set triggers, spurred trigger guards, silver wire inlaid accents around the stock flats and by the upper tangs, checkered wrists, dark horn forend caps, and contrasting pommel caps. The pair comes in a black leather covered, green felt upholstered hardwood case, containing a mallet/starter, screwdriver, sight adjustment tool, mainspring vice, nipple pick, and a brass powder measure.

Rating Definition:

Very good. The steel overall shows a mixed gray patina with a few hints of the original case color pattern on the lock plate and a replacement hammer and screw. The silver shows mixed aged patina and some slight loss on the breech band. The stock is also very good and has some light pressure dents, a few small chips around the trigger guard and pommel, and some play in the pommel. The set trigger needs some work. The lock is mechanically excellent. The case is fair with the lid coming apart at the seams, material loss, and staining.
