Plain reciprocating cylinder of Lang gas-seal type with the chambers numbered from “1” to “6”. Casehardened action engraved with scrollwork and with blued hammer. Scroll engraved furniture comprising blued trigger guard, casehardened butt cap with hinged trap cover and a grip strap plate with pierced aperture for the removable carbine stock. Walnut butt with fine multi-point checkering. With additional 22 1/2 inch octagonal blued carbine barrel with matching “MANUF.ED BY J.B. HANQUET LIEGE” signature, serial numbered to the revolver, and fitted with an identical sprung casehardened rammer to the right side with sprung hinged handle. The carbine conversion is completed by a removable figured walnut butt stock with blued scroll engraved heel plate. Rating Definition:

Fine. The revolver barrel and the carbine barrel each retain 85% original blued finish with some age related mottling and small scattered patches of light surface corrosion. The signatures are clear. The cylinder is a bright finish with scattered surface corrosion spotting. The action retains faded traces of original casehardened finish, crisp engraving, and scattered surface corrosion spotting like the cylinder. The walnut butt has scattered minor storage and handling marks and bruises. The checkering remains well-defined. Mechanically excellent. The case is very good with some external marking. One brass decorative band from the case lid is missing, and the other is loose in places. The brass lid stop is also missing. There is some age wear to the lining, an internal partition tray distorted in one corner, and a compartment lid missing. Accessories are all very good to fine.
