A closed-bolt blowback-operated submachine gun, the Reising Model 50 saw action with the U.S. Marines in the Pacific as a substitute for the M1 Thompson, though they found their best success as defensive weapons for war-essential industries and as patrol carbines for American police forces. Blade front and elevation adjustable peep rear sights, with a flash hider/muzzle break, cooling fins on the barrel, three-line Worcester address near the ejection port, and three-position selector/safety on the right side. Smooth pistol grip stock with a cocking lever on the underside and a lightly ribbed buttplate. Included with the SMG are three extra magazines, two vintage boxes of 45 ACP ammo, two transport cases with Federal Laboratories labels, and three manuals (two in English, one in Spanish).

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 90% of the period refinished blue, showing some light scratches and handling marks concentrated on the receiver and mild edge wear. The refinished stock is fine, with a few light dings and scratches. The fine cases show mild to moderate exterior wear. Mechanically excellent.
